I have come so so far from being almost 190 pounds and having a body fat percentage of 38% to now being about 130 with a bf percentage of 25% ! I still have work to do but I am very happy right now.

I think that like other fad diets it is not a permanent solution to weight loss. Most of these diets provide rapid weight loss quickly, but as soon as you break the diet you will gain it all back plus more. Additionally cutting out carbs can be very dangerous for your body.
"…can lead to the buildup of toxic ketones, substances made when the body uses its own fat cells for fuel in the absence of sufficient carbohydrates. Ketones can harm the kidneys as they try to excrete these substances. This is accompanied by a corresponding loss of water through the kidneys, leading to dehydration. Symptoms of consuming a ketogenic diet can include fatigue, headache, dizziness, heartpalpitations, and bad breath. There is excess stress on the heart, and muscle mass and bone calcium both decline. The American Heart Association does not recommend high-protein, low-carbohydrate diets because they often contain high-fat foods and can lead to deficiencies in some nutrients like fiber and certain vitamins. A healthy and balanced diet is by far the best choice for those who want to lose weight or improve athletic performance.”
Additional readings on the dangers of this diet
If you want a permanent weight loss results do not think of it as a diet or follow crazy strict diets like this, focus on getting a diversity of clean foods and live your life in moderation.
This is generally my shopping list :)
For those of you who were looking for it!
Is it bad that I havent even completed my first half marathon and I am already registering for more?
My before and after!! Sorry I couldnt get pictures in the same position but I avoided the camera like the plague at my highest weight. I am so proud of myself for finally doing this the healthy way. I love my body now not only for the way it looks but for the things I can do.

About a 7 month difference
Thank you all so much for sharing your tips with me, helping me stay motivated and helping me believe in myself <3
Just to clear this up this was 7 months of actually staying on track. However this whole process has been about 2 years of ups and downs.
It is more important to be healthy than it is to skinny.
I set a goal or myself an I accomplished it #proud #fitness #halfmarathon #polartft4 #healthy #health
There is a lot of confusion around the purpose of a cheat meal. Many people believe that if they are on a healthy eating plan they must eat cleanly 100% of the time. However studies have shown that cheat meals can be beneficial both mentally and physically.
Mentally: Having a cheat meal can actually help you stayed motivated and on track. It allows you to have the food you love and stop feeling deprived.
“When you plan a cheat day on your diet once a week, you can look forward to rewarding yourself for your hard work. Every time you feel the temptation throughout the week to stray off of your diet, you’ll be able to remind yourself that you will have that treat on your cheat day and you’ll find the temptation less strong than if you’d told yourself you can never touch that unhealthy food again.”
Physically: Did you know that having a cheat can actually make you lose weight faster? This is because having a higher calorie days boosts your metabolism! It keeps you body on the edge because it does not get use to having only a low amount of calories.
"Having a cheat day boosts your metabolism in many ways. One way it boosts your metabolism is by increasing leptin levels. Leptin is a hormone that influences hunger and body fat levels. When you diet and cut your calories, your leptin levels also drop. This causes those extreme hunger signals, and as a result, your body will hold onto body fat thinking that it’s going to need it to survive in the future. Leptin levels are directly correlated with your total caloric intake. Low calories lower leptin levels. By having a cheat day, you give your body a chance to “reset” your hormone levels – leptin included."
So there you go! Do not feel bad about indulging in your favorite meals! and like always everything in moderation :)
(Special note: I do not encourage cheating on your significant other, school work, taxes or anything else.. just dont do it)
Finally got my tiny tea!!! I’m excited to use it as I’ve heard amazing things about it!
For those that don’t know this is an all natural organic 28 day detox tea that you drink along with eating cleanly :)
